HorsePower Australia previously known as Riding for the Disabled Associaiton of Western Australia provides equine assisted programs for people with diversabiliites including horseriding, carriage driving, vaulting and hippotherapy for people with disabilities in Western Australia.

HorsePower Australia previously known as Riding for the Disabled Association of Western Australia (RDAWA) is a registered voluntary, charitable not for profit organisation that provides people with diversabilities opportunities that empower them to break through physical, cognitive and emotional barriers utilising the power of the horse to develop their abilities and enrich their lives.

Their 14 member Centres provide a variety of programs including riding, carriage driving, vaulting, Hippotherapy and walking with horses to over 500 people each year.

They have been providing their unique life-changing activities for over 45 years, and take great pride in the fact that their organisation is largely run by volunteers (96%) within the local communities in which their member centres operate.

They are part of a worldwide movement and affiliated with the Federation of Horses in Education and Therapy International (HETI). They rely on voluntary support, donations and sponsorship to deliver their services to those within the WA community.
